THANK YOU for a SPECTACULAR event!
It was such a joy to have so many people come and experience
the beauty and quality that is present in Sandtown-Winchester.
This doesn’t mean there aren’t struggles and needs! But it does
mean that the community cannot and will not be defined by its needs.
At our first ever Micro-Business Showcase and FAWE Open House,
supporters came and kept our vendors busy the entire time
(for which they were MORE than thankful!),
donations allowed us to give countless free ice cream treats to the children of the community,
music provided by DTLR set the perfect atmosphere,
free clothing was given away,
meaningful conversations were had,
and continuous tours of our building were given,
accompanied by the eager anticipation of
community and supporters alike for what this will bring.
The only thing we missed was having a photographer to capture more of the entire event. Nonetheless, enjoy the pictures that we were able to gather from some of the supporters who attended.
