Relationships over Programs
The building has been officially purchased! And we are thankful beyond words for the support that you and others have given to get us to this point. Many may be eagerly anticipating the time when we have “moved in”, set up shop, or even started the much needed renovations.
And yet, our focus since purchase has been on spending time (socially distanced, of course!) with our new neighbors!
Even though we have had an ongoing “mobile” presence in the community for over three years, locating ourselves in this building and on this corner requires a sensitivity to what has always been the most important aspect of loving service:
relationships, relationships, relationships!
It never was and never can be about jumping in with “our great plans!” – but rather about the actual people that the Lord has blessed us to walk alongside.
We will continue to keep you updated as things progress, and we ask you to continue to lift up these efforts in your prayers – not for a “quick opening”, but rather for the greater blessing of being able to do this TOGETHER.
