It has been a fairly typical week.

After walking with six people through the City’s application process for rental assistance, two of the six received approval.

The food pantry became all but bare on Friday after providing 15 bags of food, only to be replenished by donations on Sunday.

A couple of young men don’t want to have anything to do with anybody because they are just fine (as we all were at a similar age).

Another is thrilled to have someone walk alongside him as he is now faced with the challenges and joys of raising his newborn daughter.

Yet another man stops with his dog and a huge smile to express his appreciation and also share the creative ways that he too gives of himself to walk alongside others.

Life is beautiful.

People (and especially the residents of Sandtown-Winchester) are a true treasure.

God remains faithful.

And we remain thankful for you and your interest and your support and your companionship with us and the community.
